HSPA Fall Party - October 2009

The Joint PhD Mixer at the Goldman School of Public Policy (Sept '08)
The recent PhD Mixer included students, faculty and staff from Public Policy,
Economics, ARE (Agricultural Resource Economics), and HSPA Programs
There are a few main social events that are traditionally hosted by the PhD program which include:
- HSPA Student Group meets for lunch with new students
- New student lunch with members of Executive Committee (September)
- Fall PhD Dinner: hosted by faculty (October)
- Visit Day Luncheon for prospectives with current students (March)
- Prospective student dinner with faculty (March)
- Spring Graduation Party: hosted by faculty (May)
- AcademyHealth Conference: UC Alumni Reception (June)
The spring party was held aboard Helen and Scott's yacht in May '08.
In addition to these activities, there are opportunities to socialize with the HPM Faculty and Masters students at SPH and other events. Graduate Assembly also hosts several mixers and events throughout the school year so that doctoral students across campus have the opportunity to meet and socialize.
